UK Deliveries
We offer next-day delivery for orders received by 12.00 pm to the majority of UK postcodes. If your site is located in a remote area (such as the highlands), then please check next-day availability in advance. Any orders despatched on a next-day service will be delivered on the following working day between 0800hrs and 1800hrs, unless a timed delivery is pre-arranged.
We can also send your order on an economy service, if the material is not required urgently. This service is slightly more cost effective than next day, but can take 2-3 working days to arrive. We are unable to specify a delivery day for an economy service delivery.
For Saturday deliveries and timed deliveries then please check in advance if this is available for the site location. Saturday and timed deliveries incur a surcharge.
Depending on the size of your order, deliveries are either sub-contracted to a national pallet network (which involves central hubs and independent local depots) or to a third party haulage contractor. For orders up to 4 tonnes, this is generally delivered via a national pallet network, for orders greater than 4 tonnes, then we try and source a dedicated vehicle where possible, subject to availability.
Tail-lift off-load facilities can be arranged for orders up to 14 tonnes. Deliveries will be made to the closest and safest accessible point to the site, in some cases this is likely to be kerbside. It is the buyers responsibility to assist in the unloading of a tail-lift delivery. If the site has loose gravel chippings, soft ground, or is on an elevated surface and the pump-truck is unable to pass, then the delivery will be left at the nearest suitable area. If the site is accessible by the lorry, then this must be agreed between the buyer and haulage company. We do not accept any responsibility for any damaged caused by delivery vehicles on private property.
For larger orders, or situations that require special access, then we can make deliveries with moffatt off-load trailers or hi-ab vehicles. Please check the availability and cost in advance for these specialist vehicles.
Customers are required to be at site on the nominated delivery day to sign for receipt of the goods. We recommended that the materials are inspected at the time of delivery by removing any plastic wrapping to check for any shortages, damages or incorrect product. Whilst we make every effort to ensure materials are despatched in perfect condition, damage may occur due to mishandling of the pallets by third party hauliers. If the material is received damaged, short or incorrect then the delivery note must be signed as DAMAGED, SHORT or INCORRECT and be reported back within 24 hours together with pictures to support a claim.
It is the buyers responsibility to inform of any access problems before placing an order. If no one is at the site to sign for the delivery, or the site is inaccessible then re-delivery charges will apply. Should you wish to return your order, we are happy to accept the return provided the products are in the original packaging (un-opend) and still in sold condition. The customer is responsible for arranging the return at their cost and ensuring the products are packed appropriately for transit.
We are not responsible for consequential loss as a result of any delays in the receipt of goods.
